15 Best Triple Sec Cocktails

Triple sec is an orange flavored liqueur from France. Triple sec has been popular for over 150 years. It is believed that Jean-Baptiste Combier and his wife Josephine discovered the triple sec in 1834 in their kitchen in France.

The liqueur was made by sun-drying various orange peels by soaking in alcohol and then distilling the product. Rarely drunk neat, triple sec is commonly used to make many mixed cocktails.
